When starting off your welding career GMAW is definitely the type of welding you wanna learn first. GMAW has its advantages over other types of welding, but also while learning to master GMAW it actually helps give you a head start on other types of welding so your not like a little fish thrown into a ocean. GMAW is actually one of the most used types of welding mainly for its fast efficiency and the weld looks allot nicer and cleaner. Plus not to mention if your just like the average Joe just starting off GMAW probably has to be the easiest type of welding to understand/learn.
